The first edition of the Vehicle & Transportation Technology Innovation Meetings at the OGR in Turin on 27 and 28 November will speak about the future of mobility.
Experts and operators from around the world will gather at the Piedmont capital to discuss the major transformations in the sector: from self-driving vehicles to smart infrastructures.
The Italian automotive capital that has always focused on new technologies, and next week will become the world capital for innovation in the mobility sector providing a complete overview about advanced driving systems, self-driving and connected vehicles, hybrid and electrical transport, “smart” infrastructure and new mobility models, digitalisation, big data and cybersecurity.
The business convention will include a series of conferences, workshops and trade meetings between leading international operators in the industry, to shed light on the major transformations that can be expected in coming years in the way people move around.
Local promotors for the event are the Piedmont Region and Turin Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the specialist company ABE – Advanced Business Events, in cooperation with Ceipiemonte, coming together to create the first edition of this event focusing on the future for mobility and automotive sectors. Companies that will be participating include: FCA, General Motors, AVL, A^3 by Airbus/Vahana, BJEV – Beijing Electric Vehicle, Bosch, Car2Go, Comau, CSI-IMQ, Denso, Deutsche Bahn, Ducati Motor, Enel, Italdesign, ITT, Iren, Magneti Marelli, McLaren, NVIDIA, Pininfarina, Porsche Consulting, SKF, Telecom Italia, Thales Alenia Space.
Also working towards staging the event are Anfia, Amma, Api Turin, Confindustria Piedmont and Unione Industriale Turin.
The academic world in Turin will also be actively involved, with the Turin Polytechnic and University of Turin, as well as various Innovation Hubs and the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center that is one of the supporters of the initiative.
